Kyle Mudgway attended the TUNZ North Islands Camps for Taekwondo in the weekend (30 March) which was held in New Plymouth, as part of a team from Taekwondo Manawatu. This was the second big competition Kyle has attended. He competed in both poomsae (patterns) and sparring. The competition was really tough in the poomsae and kyle missed out on placing in his division. Kyle’s passion really lies with sparring and he was ecstatic to win his first fight of the day, within his division. Kyle’s second fight saw him gain a silver medal for his effort. It was a great weekend, which he hopes to repeat at Nationals coming up in September.
